Team Credibility Submission Guide
How to submit your team information for Team Credibility scoring.
What You Need
Before starting, gather the following for each team member:

Submission Process
Step 1: Access Power Signals
From the project submission flow, navigate to Step 2: Power Signals.
Step 2: Select Team Credibility
Click on "Team Credibility" to expand the section.
Step 3: Add Team Members
For each team member:
- Enter first name and last name
- Enter their role (CEO, CTO, etc.)
- Enter their email address
- Paste their LinkedIn profile URL
- (Optional) Add educational background
- (Optional) Add GitHub username
Step 4: Add Funding Information
If your project has raised funding:
- Enter total amount raised
- List lead investors
- Provide links to announcements (Crunchbase, press releases, etc.)
Step 5: Add Additional Members
Click "Add Team Member" to add more people. Include all key team members who should be evaluated.
Step 6: Submit Evidence
Provide links or documentation for:
- Team member LinkedIn profiles
- GitHub repository showing team activity
- Funding announcements
- Recent product releases or updates
Step 7: Continue
Once all team members are added, click "Continue" to proceed.
Tips for Higher Scores
For Founding Team Credibility & Focus
Funding Documentation:
- Provide Crunchbase or AngelList URLs
- Link to press releases announcing funding
- If pre-seed, document angel investors or grants
Team Verification:
- LinkedIn profiles should be complete and current
- Use company email addresses (not gmail/outlook)
- Ensure GitHub shows team members as contributors
Experience Highlights:
- Document previous exits or notable companies
- Highlight crypto-native experience
- Show full-time commitment to the project
For Educational Experience
Institution Information:
- Provide exact institution names
- Include degree types and fields of study
- Verify spelling matches Webometrics database
LinkedIn Verification:
- Education section should be filled out
- Include graduation years
- Technical degrees for technical projects carry more weight
For Team & Execution
GitHub Activity:
- Ensure repository is public
- Maintain consistent commit history
- Use clear, descriptive commit messages
- Tag releases with version numbers
Release Discipline:
- Publish release notes for each version
- Maintain a public changelog
- Use semantic versioning
- Document breaking changes
Shipping Evidence:
- Link to "Whats New" pages
- Share feature announcement blog posts
- Post updates in community channels
After Submission
- Your submission is reviewed by Thrive's Guardian network
- Guardians verify team information against public sources
- All team members may be asked to complete KYC
- Scores are assigned based on verified information
- You can update your submission if information changes
Common Issues
LinkedIn profile not found:
- Ensure the URL is complete and the profile is public
- Profile should show current role at your project
- Consider getting LinkedIn verification badge
Email domain mismatch:
- Use company email addresses that match your project domain
- If using personal email, explain why in submission
Missing team members:
- Add all founding and core team members
- Incomplete teams may score lower
- Part-time advisors should be noted separately
GitHub not showing activity:
- Ensure team members' GitHub accounts are linked
- Check that commits are attributed correctly
- Verify repository is public and accessible
Funding not documented:
- Even small amounts (grants, angels) should be included
- Provide any available public sources
- If confidential, note "undisclosed" and explain
Educational background unclear:
- Use official institution names
- Check Webometrics for correct spelling
- International institutions should use English names
